How does my diet work?
By focusing on little daily changes you’ll produce long-lasting weight-loss results. For most people, that means eat more healthy foods and eat less fattening foods. We’re not after perfection, but a steady improvement over your current diet. And instead of focusing on what not to eat, we'll make you focus on what to eat.
How do I eat better?
We encourage you to eat healthy foods that are good for you and filling—fruit, vegetables, whole grain and legumes, lean meat and fish. We also teach you about "low energy density foods"—foods that have lots of water and fiber, so they have fewer calories per cup of food. You shouldn't ban every "bad" food from your life. Eating is a wonderful experience, if done the right way. Eat your cake, but have a smaller piece, and fill up on fruit. That’s what we’ll practice together--putting down your fork a little earlier.
Finding your individual food balance—the kinds and amounts of foods you should eat to get to your ideal body—is a personal journey.
